Crazy Crust Pizza
CRUST:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano or Italian or basil
2/3 cup milk
FILLING:
1 pound ground beef or any meat mixture
½ cup onion, chopped
½ teaspoon salt
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced or pieces
1 cup pizza sauce
1 to 2 cups cheese, like pizza cheese or Mozzarella cheese or a mixture
PIZZA SAUCE:
1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ to 1 teaspoon basil
Mix together and cook 5-8 minutes to blend the flavors together.
If using ground beef start to cook until browned and no pink remains. Drain and put back in pan. Make the crust and beat it with a mixer or a whisk until smooth. Pour into a greased 12” pan. Then add the meat and vegetables over the crust. Bake this for 25 to 30 minutes in 425 degree oven or until golden in color. Remove pizza from oven and drizzle with sauce and sprinkle on the cheese. Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes to melt the cheese. Any toppings you like can be used.
